Trip to Novi Sad, Serbia

Day 1: Arrival and Exploring the Old Town

As you arrive in Novi Sad, you can check into your hotel that you have booked in advance. Once you are settled in, you can start exploring the Old Town of the city. This area is filled with beautiful Baroque buildings with plenty of cafes and restaurants, where you can relax and enjoy the views. You can stroll around the main square, Trg Slobode, and explore the historic landmarks of the city like the Cathedral of St. Mary and the Petrovaradin Fortress.

Day 2: Visit Petrovaradin Fortress and Fruška Gora National Park

On your second day, visit the famous Petrovaradin Fortress that offers panoramic views of Novi Sad and the Danube River. The citadel has been turned into a cultural hub, featuring a museum, art galleries, restaurants, and music venues. Later in the day, take a trip to the nearby Fruška Gora National Park, which is known for its rich flora and fauna. You can go hiking, cycling, and wine tasting at the vineyards located within the park.

Day 3: Exploring Danube River and Dunavska Street

Spend your third day exploring Danube River and Dunavska Street. The Danube River is one of the longest rivers in Europe and provides stunning views of the city from the riverbank. You can take a stroll along Dunavska Street, which is known for its beautiful architecture, shops, cafes, and art galleries. You can also visit the Museum of Vojvodina, which showcases the history and culture of the region.

Day 4: Skadarlija Bohemian Quarter

On your fourth day, visit Skadarlija Bohemian Quarter, which is a historic street known for its bohemian culture, music, and dining. The street is filled with restaurants and cafes, and you can hear traditional music played by street artists. You can enjoy authentic Serbian food such as Karadjordjeva steak or freshly grilled fish. You can also visit the National Theatre or the Opera House, both located in the city center.

Day 5: Shopping at Promenada Novi Sad

Spend your fifth day shopping at Promenada Novi Sad, which is a modern shopping mall located in the city center. The mall features international brands, movie theatres, restaurants, and cafes. You can spend the day shopping and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants in the mall. Day 6: Day Trip to Sremski Karlovci

On your sixth day, take a day trip to Sremski Karlovci, a beautiful town located just 12 km from Novi Sad. This historic town is known for its architecture, vineyards, and wine cellars. You can visit the beautiful Baroque-style town square, Patriarchate Palace, and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. You can also do wine tasting at one of the many vineyards located in the town.

Day 7: Relaxation Day

On your last day in Novi Sad, spend the day relaxing at the spa or visit one of the local parks. You can visit the Trg Slobode or the Dunavski Park and enjoy a picnic-style lunch. You can also take a stroll around the city and visit some of the local cafes and restaurants before you head back home.
