Day 1: Arrival and Marina Bay
Upon arrival at Singapore Changi Airport, you can take a taxi or hop on one of the public transportation options to reach your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, visit Marina Bay for a truly immersive Singapore experience. Begin with a walk along the Helix Bridge to Marina Bay Sands, and catch a glimpse of the iconic Merlion statue, Marina Bay’s mascot. Next, head to the Gardens by the Bay, a nature park with gigantic Supertrees and beautiful outdoor gardens that will leave you awestruck. End your day with a Light and Sound Show, where the Supertrees are brought to life with an orchestrated light and music show, truly a mesmerizing experience.
Day 2: Exploring the City
Wake up early on Day 2 and head to the Central Business District for a walking tour of Singapore’s busy streets. The tour includes stops at landmarks like Maxwell Food Centre, Chinatown, and Little India, where you can experience different cultures and sample some of Singapore’s well-known cuisines. Once the walk is over, take a taxi to the Singapore Flyer, an observation wheel that provides panoramic views of the city. Pink dolphin shows, flying foxes, and open-top buses are just a few experiences that are part of the Singapore Flyer!
Day 3: Sentosa Island
A trip to Singapore isn’t complete without a visit to Sentosa Island. This man-made island is home to Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore, and many other family-friendly attractions. Start your day early with a visit to the Adventure Cove Waterpark, home to Southeast Asia’s first hydromagnetic coaster, a unique water coaster that takes riders uphill! Once gratified, head to the Trick Eye Museum, a unique, interactive museum where you become part of the art. Finish your visit to Sentosa with the Wings of Time show at the beach, a magical night show that incorporates LED lights, lasers, and water fountains.
Day 4: Orchard Road
For shopping lovers, Day 4 is all about Orchard Road. This is the city’s premier shopping district and is lined with glitzy malls and luxurious boutiques. Start at Ion Orchard, a shopping mall with a mix of international and local labels and grab a snack at the basement food court, which offers local and international cuisine at affordable prices. Next, check out the unique concept store, Naiise, and then take a break at one of Singapore’s most famous rest spots - the botanic gardens. End your day with a visit to Lucky Plaza, a mall with a mix of Filipino and Asian stores that cater mainly to domestic helpers.
Day 5: Jurong Bird Park and Night Safari
On Day 5, head to the Jurong Bird Park, Asia’s largest bird paradise. Here, take a walk through the park and explore more than 5,000 birds across 400 species and observe them up close. Next, head over to Night Safari, a unique experience that offers a nocturnal glimpse of the animal kingdom. After sunset, board an open-air tram and explore the park’s different zones while listening to the commentary of an informative guide. End your Night Safari visit with the Creatures of the Night, a 20-minute interactive show where nocturnal animals showcase their behaviors.
Day 6: Hawker Food and Clarke Quay
Spend your last full day in Singapore exploring the popular hawker centers, places where you can try a wide range of local dishes at affordable prices. The Chinatown Complex, Lau Pa Sat, and the Old Airport Road Food Centre are just some of the popular hawker places to try. You can also enjoy the river cruise, which runs down Singapore River and will give you a glimpse of Clarke Quay, a popular nightlife destination. Clarke Quay is packed with fantastic restaurants and riverside bars offering local and international cuisine.
Day 7: Departure
