Day 1: Welcome to Singapore
Welcome to Singapore! Once you’ve settled into your accommodation, take some time to explore your neighborhood and get a feel for the city. Perhaps you could visit some of the local shops and markets to pick up some souvenirs or sample the local cuisine at one of Singapore’s bustling hawker centers.
If you’re interested in seeing some of Singapore’s iconic architecture, you could visit the Gardens by the Bay, a large nature park that features giant, otherworldly structures known as “supertrees.” Alternatively, you could head to Marina Bay Sands, a luxurious resort that’s home to a range of high-end shops and restaurants.
Day 2: Universal Studios Singapore
Today, you’ll be heading to Universal Studios Singapore, a sprawling theme park that’s home to a huge array of attractions based on movies and popular culture. Whether you’re a fan of Hollywood blockbusters, thrilling roller coasters, or immersive experiences, you’ll find plenty to enjoy at this park.
Some of the park’s most popular attractions include Transformers: The Ride, where you’ll join the Autobots in a bid to save the planet, and the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster, which features two parallel tracks that offer different experiences depending on which one you choose. You could also head to the park’s Jurassic Park area, which is home to a range of dinosaur-themed rides and attractions.
Day 3: Sentosa Island
Today, we’ll explore Sentosa Island, a beautiful resort island that’s home to a range of exciting attractions. You could start by visiting the island’s many beaches, such as Palawan Beach or Siloso Beach, and soak up some sun and sea.
Another popular attraction on the island is the Sentosa Merlion, a huge statue of the city-state’s mythical lion-fish creature. From here, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the entire island, as well as the mainland.
You could also head to the S.E.A. Aquarium, one of the world’s largest aquariums, which is home to a huge array of marine life. Or, take the cable car to the island for breathtaking views.
Day 4: Hawker Centers and Chinatown
Today, we’ll explore Singapore’s vibrant food scene, starting with a visit to one of the city’s bustling hawker centers. These open-air food markets offer a range of delicious street food dishes, from noodles and rice dishes to soups and grilled meats.
Later in the day, you could explore Chinatown, which is home to a huge range of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Some of the highlights include the Chinatown Heritage Center, a museum that offers a glimpse into the lives of Singapore’s early Chinese settlers, and the Sri Mariamman Temple, the city’s oldest Hindu temple.
Day 5: Singapore Zoo and Night Safari
Today, we’ll head to the Singapore Zoo for an unforgettable wildlife experience. This world-renowned zoo is home to a huge range of animals, including orangutans, tigers, and elephants, as well as a range of exotic birds and reptiles.
Later in the day, you could visit the zoo’s Night Safari, which offers a chance to see a range of nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. This unique, open-air experience is one of the most popular nighttime activities in Singapore.
Day 6: Gardens by the Bay
Today, we’ll visit one of Singapore’s most iconic attractions: the Gardens by the Bay. This sprawling nature park is home to a range of beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces, as well as a variety of natural wonders like the Supertree Grove, a collection of towering, futuristic trees that light up at night.
The Gardens also boasts two enormous, climate-controlled conservatories that showcase a range of exotic plants and flowers from around the world. The Flower Dome, for instance, features Mediterranean and sub-tropical plants, while the Cloud Forest simulates a tropical highland environment.
Day 7: Last day in Singapore
Sadly, it’s your last day in Singapore. Depending on your interests, you could spend this time exploring some of the city’s other cultural attractions, such as the National Museum of Singapore or the Singapore Art Museum.
Or, if you’d prefer to relax and unwind, you could head to one of Singapore’s many spas and wellness centers for a day of pampering and relaxation.
