Trip to Cape Town, South Africa
Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
Welcome to Cape Town! Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Cape Peninsula Tour
Today, we will be going on a full-day guided tour of the Cape Peninsula. We will start with a visit to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, which is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including baboons, ostriches and tortoises. We will then drive along the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive, a scenic route that offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, we will visit the Boulders Beach, where you can see the adorable African penguins up close. Finally, we will end the day with a visit to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which is considered one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world.
Day 3: Table Mountain and City Tour
This morning, we will take a cable car up the iconic Table Mountain and enjoy panoramic views of Cape Town and the surrounding areas. After descending from Table Mountain, we will explore Cape Town city, starting with a visit to the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood, famous for its brightly-painted houses and steep cobbled streets. We will also visit the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest surviving building in South Africa. This fortress-like structure, built by the Dutch East India Company, was constructed in the 17th century to protect Cape Town from seafaring enemies.
Day 4: Robben Island and Waterfront Shopping
Today, we will visit Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years. We’ll take a ferry from the V&A Waterfront to the island and enjoy a guided tour of the prison and island. After returning to Cape Town, we will spend the afternoon shopping at the V&A Waterfront, a bustling hub of restaurants, shops, and entertainment.
Day 5: Wine Tour in Stellenbosch
Today we will embark on a full-day wine tour to Stellenbosch, the wine capital of South Africa. We will visit three different wine farms, each with their unique charm and wine varietals to taste. We will also have a chance to learn about the history of wine-making in South Africa and explore the picturesque town of Stellenbosch.
Day 6: Beach Day
Cape Town has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, so today we will spend the day relaxing on one of them. We recommend visiting Clifton Beach, known for its crystal-clear waters and white sand, this beach is a hotspot for locals and tourists alike.
