Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Palma
Today you will arrive in Palma de Mallorca and check into your hotel. Take this day to explore the city center on foot. Start your day at the iconic Gothic-style Palma Cathedral “La Seu”. It looms over the city and the historic harbor, and is an absolute must-see. Then visit the impressive Almudaina Palace, a royal palace that refers to the time of the ancient Arab occupation. Wander through the narrow streets of the picturesque old town, and browse the local shops for souvenirs, leather goods, and jewelry. In the evening, visit a rooftop bar with views of the city and harbor.
Day 2: Mallorca’s North Coast
Drive to Mallorca’s scenic North Coast, where you will find a rugged, mountainous landscape and charming seaside villages. Stop in the town of Sóller and take a picturesque train ride from Sóller to Palma, which offers breathtaking views of the coast and countryside. Then, drive to Valldemossa where you can visit the old Carthusian Monastery and the Palace of King Sancho. Take a stroll through the picturesque streets of the old town, and enjoy a coffee or pastry in one of the town’s charming cafes or bakeries.
Day 3: Art, Culture and Nightlife
Today, head to Es Baluard, a stunning contemporary art museum located in the heart of Palma, which contains an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art pieces. Afterwards, visit the Museum of Spanish Contemporary Art or the impressive Joan Miro Foundation. Head back to the city center in the evening and enjoy the vibrant nightlife, with its wide range of bars, nightclubs, and restaurants.
Day 4: Beach Day
Take a break today and head to the beach for some relaxation time. You will be spoilt for choice with beaches around Palma, but one of the most popular is Playa de Palma. Relax on the beach or take a swim in the crystal-clear water. Head to one of the beach bars or restaurants for a refreshing drink and a bite to eat.
Day 5: Medieval Market and Wine Tasting
Today, visit the charming village of Santa Maria, which hosts a traditional medieval market every week. This market has a wide range of stalls selling handicrafts, food, and drinks. After exploring the market, visit a local winery, where you can taste some of the region’s finest wines while enjoying views of the stunning countryside.
Day 6: Cap de Formentor
Head to Cap de Formentor, which is the easternmost point on the island and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. Stop at the Lighthouse, where you can take in the stunning scenery and take some iconic photos. After enjoying the view, head down to see the gorgeous Cala Formentor beach where you can swim in the stunning turquoise waters.
Day 7: Departure
Today is your departure day. After checking out from your hotel, take a stroll through the main shopping street, Passeig del Born, to pick up a few last-minute souvenirs. Depart from the Palma de Mallorca airport in the evening.
