Trip to Young Island, St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Day 1: Arrival and Relaxation

After landing at E.T. Joshua Airport in St. Vincent, you will be greeted by a private shuttle that will take you to the ferry that will transport you to Young Island. As you make your way to your resort, take in the beautiful scenery of the Grenadine Islands. Once you’ve settled in, take some time to relax at the beachfront cabanas or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water of the sea. You will also have the option to try some Caribbean cuisine accompanied by a delicious cocktail at the resort’s restaurant.

Day 2: Island Tour

This morning, you can wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast at your resort. Afterwards, embark on an island tour, starting with an exploration of St. Vincent’s capital city Kingstown. There you’ll learn about the local history and culture including their impressive churches and bustling markets. You’ll then take a scenic drive through the lush green mountains of the island to visit the Mesopotamia Valley’s lush vegetation and bright rainbow houses. You’ll get to view mesmerizing waterfalls and end the tour with a hike to the La Soufriere volcano. A highly experienced guide will accompany you to visit all of these places.

Day 3: Bequia Tour

On day three, you will travel by boat to Bequia, one of the larger Grenadine islands. Bequia boasts stunning white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush green hillside. Enjoy some free time to visit the Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary, learn about Bequia’s maritime history, hike Mount Pleasant, stroll the pristine waterfront, and buy some souvenirs in Port Elizabeth while enjoying some of the local Caribbean cuisine.

Day 4: Tobago Cays

On day four, you will experience one of the world’s most beautiful marine parks and Turtle Sanctuary, which attracts visitors all year round- Tobago Cays. This place boasts an incredible coral reef with numerous sea creatures. Snorkel with turtles, swim, kayak, and enjoy the sunny Caribbean weather. While enjoying the tranquility of the cays, you will be served lunch and refreshments aboard a yacht.

Day 5: Shopping

Day five will be dedicated to exploring the local shops and experience some of the local shopping culture. You can also visit the St. Vincent Botanic Gardens, where you’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery and colorful tropical flowers. Be sure to check out the markets packed full of local produce, crafts, and souvenirs where you can chat with local vendors and residents.

Day 6: Nightlife

Experience the local nightlife on Young Island with a visit to Jack’s Bar, a local hotspot. Known for its lively atmosphere, you will enjoy lively music, dance and local Caribbean drinks. You can also experience one of the local discos or clubs in Kingstown, the capital of St Vincent.

Day 7: Departure

After a week full of fun and new experiences, it’s time to say goodbye to Young Island. Use your last day to soak up some last-minute sun and enjoy the beautiful views over the sea. Your private shuttle will pick you up for your journey back to the E.T. Joshua airport in St. Vincent. You can board your flight home with unforgettable memories of this adventure in the Caribbean.
