Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok

Welcome to Bangkok! Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide who will assist you in getting to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore the area around your hotel. In the evening, head out to enjoy some world-famous Thai street food at a nearby night market.

Day 2: Historical Temples

Begin your day by visiting Bangkok’s most famous temple, Wat Phra Kaew, commonly known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which houses the country’s most revered Buddha image. Explore the temple’s intricate architecture and rich history, which dates back to the 18th century. After that, head to Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, to see one of the largest and most impressive Buddha statues in Bangkok. Lastly, visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The temple’s colorful spires and Khmer-style stupas are a must-visit for any traveler.

Day 3: Floating Market and Thai Cooking Class

Today, you will be picked up from your hotel to visit the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where vendors sell everything from fresh produce to souvenirs from their boats. Enjoy a boat ride through the canals and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the market before heading back to Bangkok for a Thai cooking class. Learn how to cook authentic Thai dishes, including Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup, from an experienced local chef.

Day 4: Grand Palace and Shopping

Start the day by visiting Bangkok’s most famous landmark, the Grand Palace, a magnificent complex of buildings that was once the residence of the Thai royal family. Explore the ornate buildings, halls, and courtyards within the palace walls, including the stunning Wat Phra Kaew, home to the famous Emerald Buddha. Spend your afternoon shopping at some of Bangkok’s most famous markets and malls, including Chatuchak Weekend Market, Siam Center, and Terminal 21.

Day 5: Chinatown and River Cruise

Today, explore Bangkok’s vibrant Chinatown, home to one of the city’s oldest Chinese communities. Walk through the bustling streets and sample some of the area’s famous street food, including roasted duck, dim sum, and Thai-style noodles. In the evening, go on a dinner cruise along the Chao Phraya River and enjoy the city skyline from the water while indulging in a delicious Thai dinner.

Day 6: Ayutthaya Historical Park

Today, take a day trip from Bangkok to the ancient city of Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. Explore the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which features numerous temples and ruins that date back to the 14th century. Visit the iconic Wat Mahathat, which houses the famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, known for its stunning architecture and tranquil setting. After a full day of exploring, head back to Bangkok for a final night out on the town.

Day 7: Departure

Today is the final day of your trip to Bangkok. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time to do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Your guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, taking with you memories of a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Thailand’s vibrant and bustling capital.
