Day 1: Arrival in Piarco

Welcome to Piarco, Trinidad and Tobago! Upon arrival, you might be feeling a bit jetlagged, so we recommend taking it easy today and settling into your accommodation. Later on, you can take a stroll around the area where you are staying, maybe visit the local shops and markets, and sample some of the delicious Caribbean cuisine.

Day 2: Port of Spain Sightseeing

Today, we suggest you embark on a tour of Port of Spain, the capital city of Trinidad and Tobago. Explore the Queen’s Park Savannah, a large park that’s great for walking or jogging. Visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, which feature a magnificent array of local and exotic flora. If you’re interested in history, check out the National Museum and Art Gallery to learn about the colonial and pre-colonial periods of the islands. You may also want to wander through the busy downtown area for some shopping and street food.

Day 3: Beach Day - Maracas Bay

Trinidad and Tobago has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, and Maracas Bay is one of its most popular. Relax on the golden sands, take a dip in the crystal-clear water and soak up the sun. While you are there, try some angel-shark sandwich, a must-try for the foodies.

Day 4: Tobago Island Tour

Today, we recommend a day trip to Tobago, a tropical island paradise just a short flight from Piarco. Once there, you can visit Pigeon Point Beach, the famous Nylon Pool, and the Argyle Waterfall. We suggest that you take a dip in the Nylon Pool, said to have healing powers. Tobago is the ideal place for nature lovers, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure.

Day 5: Carnival Center

One of the most famous events held in Trinidad and Tobago is Carnival, where locals don colorful costumes and dance through the streets to Soca music. Today, we recommend a visit to the Carnival Center, where you can learn about the history and culture behind this lively event. Here you can also participate in the workshop which teaches Soca music and dance.

Day 6: La Vega Estate Market and Adventure Park

Today, visit La Vega Estate Market, a bustling open-air market where you can shop for local handicrafts, fresh produce, and other Caribbean specialties. Afterward, head to La Vega Estate Adventure Park where you can get your adrenaline pumping with activities like ziplining, climbing, and river tubing.

Day 7: Ortoire Village and Turtle Watching

Visit Ortoire Village, a quaint fishing village well-known for nesting leatherback turtles. You can take a guided tour to watch these majestic creatures lay eggs during the nesting season, or you can choose to watch the baby turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean. Afterward, you can sit back and relax on the beach and enjoy the scenery.
