Day 1: Arrival and Introduction to the City
Welcome to Bursa, Turkey! On your first day, you’ll arrive at the airport and be transferred to your hotel. After you get settled in, it’s time for some sightseeing!
Bursa is known as “Green Bursa” for its many parks, gardens, and forests, so why not take a walk in the palm-lined Cumalikizik village that leads to lush green hills? Once there, enjoy the fresh air and impeccable scenery. As you travel through the village, take in the village’s old mansions, the roar of the river, the tranquility of the village, and the town square’s Ottoman style.
Day 2: Visit Historic Landmarks
Today we’re going to go through some historical landmarks. Head to the main attraction of the city, the Green Mausoleum (Yesil Turbe) for the mausoleums of Osman Gazi, Orhan Gazi, Murat I, Beyazid I, Mehmed I, and Murat II.
Then to the Great Mosque (Ulu Cami) which dates back to 1399 and features intricate stone carvings and floral designs. For a little modernity, take a walk down Ataturk Caddesi and shop at the centuries-old Koza Han, a silk market, for a real Turkish shopping experience.
Day 3: Explore the City
Today you will have a full day to explore some of Bursa’s finest spots! Head to the Emir Sultan Mosque, the town’s most striking landmark. The Emir Sultan Mosque sits on a hill overlooking the city.
Followed up by Uludag, a green landscape renowned for skiing in winter and mountain biking in summer, where you can take photographs, go for a hike or even ride an ATV through the mountains, visiting our resort on the way up.
Day 4: Visit Traditional Turkish Bath
No trip to Turkey is complete without a visit to a traditional Turkish bath, the hamam. Enjoy a day of relaxation, rejuvenation, and purification.
At the Eski Kaplica Hamami, the Turkish Bath offers a more traditional experience with a combination of hot and cold pools and a massage. Visitors are usually given towels, a cotton wrap, and slippers to wear in the bath area. Prepare yourself for a proper scrub-down in the hot steam, where any old skin will be removed, and enjoy a refreshing cup of tea when you’re done.
Day 5: Trek To The Mountain Villages
Today is for the adventurers, get ready for a real treat as you explore the small mountain villages of Cumalikizik or Goynuk. Here you can enjoy some authentic Turkish cuisine in local restaurants and explore the nearby waterfalls, hills and creeks.
You can also hike to some of the remote villages for a better experience of village life and meet the locals, getting shown their way of life and traditional crafts.
Day 6: Relax in Bursa
Today is all about relaxation and taking a break from sightseeing. Why not take a stroll in Bursa’s Botanical Gardens, a stunning haven in the corner of the city.
For lunch or a coffee and pastry, you can visit the Butik Samdan Cafe located inside the botanical gardens, or the Fidan Cafe located in the hills, both areas can offer stunning views of the area, you can also relax here enjoying the view, fresh air and a good book.
Day 7: Departure
Today is the last day of your trip, so you’ll need to check out of your hotel and head to the airport for your flight.
