Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Day 2: Explore the Old City

Start your day early with a delicious Turkish breakfast before heading out to explore the city. Visit the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque), an iconic landmark in Istanbul, and grab a coffee at the nearby cafes while enjoying the impressive view of the Hagia Sophia. You can spend the afternoon at the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s oldest markets, and a major shopping destination where you can find everything from souvenirs to silk. Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise & Beylerbeyi Palace

Take a relaxing Bosphorus Cruise to explore the waters of Istanbul, with its stunning panoramas of the city skyline, the Bosphorus bridge, and the Asian side of Istanbul. After the cruise, visit Beylerbeyi Palace, a 19th-century summer residence of the Ottoman sultans, and admire its stunning architectural and artistic features, such as its crystal chandeliers, gold leaf decorations, and historic furniture.

Day 4: Day Trip to Princes’ Islands

Escape the bustle of Istanbul by taking a day trip to the beautiful Princes’ Islands, located in the Sea of Marmara. You can take a ferry from Istanbul to the islands and spend your day exploring the stunning beaches, crystal clear waters, and the charming villages. Get a feel for the local life by renting a bicycle and cycling around the islands.

Day 5: Explore New City

Today, you will take a day to explore the modern side of Istanbul. Visit Taksim Square, which is one of the city’s most bustling areas and a hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Grab lunch at a traditional restaurant on Istiklal Street, then explore the boutiques and shops selling unique items. In the evening, head to the nearby Galata Tower, which is a medieval tower that provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.

Day 6: Visit the Topkapi Palace & Islamic Arts Museum

Explore the Topkapi Palace, the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for about 400 years, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a museum that showcases displays of art collections, courtyards, palaces, ceremonial halls, and the imperial harem. Then head to the nearby Islamic Arts Museum, which has one of the world’s richest collections of Islamic art and artifacts, spanning over 1,000 years of Islamic culture.

Day 7: Departure

On your last day in Istanbul, take a walk in the Galata district, an area known for its diverse blend of architectural styles and lively streets. Head to the picturesque Balat and Fener neighborhoods, located in the old city, and marvel at the historic buildings, colorful houses, and impressive churches. Finish off your trip with a classic, mouthwatering Turkish kebab or lahmacun, and then head back home with unforgettable memories of your trip to Istanbul.
