Day 1: Arrival in Konya
Welcome to Konya! On your first day, check-in at your hotel, relax and recover from your travel. In the evening, stroll around the city center and lose yourself in the vibrant bazaar atmosphere while you explore the local street food and handicrafts. Be sure to try out some traditional Turkish delights while you walk around the streets.
Day 2: Konya City Tour
Start your day by visiting the Mevlana Museum, famous for its connection to the founder of the Whirling Dervishes, Rumi. Take a tour of the museum and get to know the life and works of Rumi and his followers. After that, head towards the Konya Archaeological Museum, where you can see exhibits showcasing the rich history of Konya and the ancient civilisations of Anatolia. Day 3: Selcuklu Civilization Tour

Start your tour by visiting the Sille Village, known for its historic churches and its famous “Sille Kilims” woven by local women. Continue your tour of Selcuklu Civilization by visiting the Ince Minaret Medressah, a prime example of Seljuk architecture.
Day 4: Shop and Dine
After a couple of days of historical and cultural sights, it’s time to indulge in some retail therapy. Head to the Kule Site Shopping Mall, where you can find anything from high street to designer brands. After that, head to the Meralgazi Cakmakcioglu Bazaar and browse through the traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. In the evening, dine at the Konak Konya Mutfagi, known for its delicious kebabs and authentic Turkish dishes.
Day 5: Karatay Medresesi and Ethnography Museum
On your fifth day in Konya, head towards the Karatay Medresesi, dating back to the 13th century, once a school for Imams, and now a museum for traditional Islamic art. After exploring Karatay Medresesi, visit the Konya Ethnography Museum, where you can see traditional costumes, tools, and art from Konya and Anatolia.
Day 6: Fasl-ı Beyoğlu and Shams Tabrizi Tomb
Spend day five exploring the lesser-known places of Konya. Start visiting the Fasl-ı Beyoğlu, it’s a charming neighbourhood and full of street art. Then head to the Shams Tabrizi Tomb, where Shams Tabrizi, one of the greatest scholars of all time and the mentor of Rumi, is buried. The tomb is located in the heart of an apple orchard and is a serene and peaceful place to visit.
Day 7: Nightlife in Konya
End your trip to Konya by experiencing the nightlife of this vibrant city. Start by having dinner at the famous Konya Balikcisi restaurant, known for its fresh seafood and grilled fish dishes. After dinner, head towards the Sahlep Sokagi Street, full of bars, cafes, and music venues. Hang out at the Jazz Cafe & Bar, and enjoy Turkish coffee with traditional Turkish music. Be sure to check out the famous Mevlevi Music Nights, held in the tombs of the Mevlevi Dervishes for a musical experience like no other.
