Trip to Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos Islands
Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival in Grand Turk, you will be greeted at the airport by your driver who will take you to your hotel. After checking in and settling, you can explore the charming capital of Cockburn Town, and its abundance of historic sites, colorful Caribbean architecture, and picturesque streets. We recommend visiting the historic lighthouse and the Cockburn Town National Museum. In the evening, head to Jack’s Shack for a laid-back atmosphere and some authentic Caribbean cuisine.
Day 2: Snorkeling and whale watching
Start the day with a snorkeling adventure and discover the beautiful coral reefs that surround Grand Turk. From colorful fish to exotic sea creatures, you will be amazed by the underwater world of the Turks and Caicos. In the afternoon, embark on a whale-watching trip and witness the majesty of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. The waters surrounding the Turks and Caicos are one of the only places in the world where you can spot humpback whales during whale migration season (January to April).
Day 3: Gibbs Cay & relaxation
Take a boat tour to Gibbs Cay, a tiny uninhabited island that is home to a colony of stingrays. You can feed these friendly creatures and even swim with them. After meeting these sea creatures, you can relax on the island’s pristine beaches and enjoy a picnic lunch while admiring the stunning views of the turquoise waters all around you. In the evening, visit one of the local seafood restaurants for some delicious Caribbean cuisine.
Day 4: Grand Turk Lighthouse and Cockburn Beach
Visit the iconic Grand Turk Lighthouse, located on the highest point of the island and wonderfully preserved. The lighthouse offers stunning vistas of the island and its natural beauty. Afterward, head to Cockburn Beach, a serene low-key beach that offers an oasis of tranquility surrounded by palm trees and stunning turquoise waters. Day 5: Horseback riding

Day 6: Salt Ponds
Grand Turk’s salt ponds are an essential part of the island’s past, once being the primary source of wealth. Today, you can explore and learn all about the traditional salt collection methods that still exist to this day. Day 7: Departure
