Trip to North Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands
Day 1: Arrival and Beach Time
Upon arrival at the Providenciales airport (PLS), which is the nearest airport, you will be welcomed by our friendly driver who will transfer you by taxi and ferry to North Caicos. Once you are checked in and settled in your accommodation, you can spend the day relaxing and unwinding on the stunning beaches of North Caicos. The powdery white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters will take your breath away. Take a splash in the warm waters or simply lounge on the shore while sipping on a refreshing cocktail or mocktail and soaking in the tropical sun.
Day 2: Snorkeling Trip
Today, you will get to experience some of the best snorkeling spots in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We recommend taking a guided snorkeling tour to explore the beautiful coral reef systems, where you can spot colorful tropical fish, sea turtles and even different types of sharks. Some of the popular snorkeling spots around North Caicos include Three Marys Cays, Maycock Cay, and Pine Cay.
Day 3: Cultural Tour
Today, you will get a chance to get up close and personal with the cultural and historical sites of North Caicos. You can start with a visit to the Wade’s Green Plantation, which is a preserved plantation house dating back to the 1700s. You can also visit the ruins of the Conch Bar Caves National Park, which is the largest above-ground cave system in the Caribbean. As you explore the island, you’ll get to experience the island’s unique and rich culture.
Day 4: Shopping and Nature Trails
Today, take some time to go shopping and exploring the natural beauty that North Caicos has to offer. For shopping, there are various local shops and markets where you can buy souvenirs like handmade crafts, jewelry and unique island products. A great place to start is the Middle Caicos Co-op Society in the nearby island of Middle Caicos. In the afternoon, take a walk on the Crossing Place Trail to explore the flora and fauna and get a glimpse of the native birds and animals.
Day 5: Relaxation
Today, is all about relaxation and taking it easy. Savor a lazy morning by sleeping in, relaxing by the poolside or having a massage. Take a dip in the pool or the ocean, read a book or simply enjoy the beautiful views from your accommodation. You can also explore the village and get some local flavor and culture in one of the many restaurants or bars.
Day 6: Horseback Riding on the Beach
Take a horseback riding tour along the incredible trails of North Caicos. Enjoy the stunning vista of the beaches while trotting through the water’s edge. This is an excellent way to get a unique perspective on the island from an elevated position. Horseback riding tours last for about 2 hours, and take you through trails of lush native vegetation while enjoying the gentle pace of these majestic horses.
Day 7: Departure
Today is your last day in North Caicos, and sadly it’s time to say goodbye. Depending on your flight time, you can take a leisurely stroll around the village before bidding farewell to the island paradise. Our driver will transfer you back to Providenciales airport, where you can begin your journey home.
