Day 4: Take a Day Trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon

Take a break from Birmingham and enjoy a day trip to the charming town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, just a short train ride away. Visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, a museum dedicated to the famous playwright’s life, works, and times in which he lived. You can also walk along the Avon river or visit one of the many shops or cafes.

Day 5: Cadbury World and Birmingham’s Canals

Start your day at Cadbury World, the museum dedicated to chocolate lovers. Learn about the history of the Cadbury company, experience the making of chocolate, and of course, indulge in delicious chocolate samples. In the afternoon, take a stroll along Birmingham’s canals. See restored factory buildings, colourful boats, and waterfront cafes. You can also take a boat tour for a unique perspective on the city.

Day 6: Visit the Bullring Markets and Nightlife

Visit the Bullring Markets for a taste of Birmingham’s vibrant street culture. With fresh produce, clothing, jewelry, and much more, it is an eclectic mix of things to buy, unique to the city. At night, experience the music scene, with electric performances by local bands, jazz clubs, and the renowned Symphony Hall.

Day 7: Departure

On your final day, take advantage of some last-minute shopping, there are plenty of shopping areas throughout the city, so no need to worry about that perfect souvenir. After, head to the airport or train station for your return journey home, with a lifetime of memories to cherish.
