Day 1: Arrival and Getting Settled
The first day of your Los Angeles adventure will likely be dedicated to settling in and getting comfortable. If you’re feeling a bit jet-lagged, you might want to spend your morning simply resting and relaxing at your hotel. Alternatively, you could head out to one of Los Angeles’ many beaches, such as Santa Monica or Venice Beach, to stretch your legs and enjoy the stunning ocean views. In the evening, head to West Hollywood or Downtown LA to take in some of the city’s renowned nightlife.
Day 2: Exploring Hollywood
On your second day in LA, it’s time to dive into all that Hollywood has to offer. Start your day with a visit to the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, where you can see the stars of your favorite actors and musicians. From there, catch a movie at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre or take a tour of the glitz and glamour of Beverly Hills. In the evening, head to the Sunset Strip to experience some of LA’s world-famous music scene.
Day 3: Urban Parks and Museums
With so much to do in Los Angeles, it can be tempting to stay busy every day of your trip. But don’t forget to slow down and enjoy some of the city’s quieter attractions. On your third day, spend the morning exploring the stunning urban parks in LA, such as Griffith Park, which offers some of the city’s most spectacular views. After lunch, head to Museum Row for a dose of culture and history. Don’t miss the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) or the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
Day 4: Universal Studios Hollywood
For film fanatics, a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood is an absolute must. Spend the day exploring all of the theme park’s attractions and rides, and make sure to take the famous Studio Tour. You’ll get an insider’s look at some of the most famous movie sets in Hollywood history.
Day 5: Shopping and Beaches
On your fifth day, it’s time to do some shopping in some of LA’s top retail destinations. The Grove and Melrose Avenue are both fantastic shopping spots that offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking for boutique fashion or big-name brands. In the afternoon, head back to the beach to relax and soak up the sun.
Day 6: Day Trip to Santa Barbara
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of LA and head up the coast to Santa Barbara. This charming seaside town is known for its Spanish-style architecture and idyllic beaches. Visit the Santa Barbara Mission or the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, and stroll along Stearns Wharf for some breathtaking coastal views.
Day 7: Departure
On your final day in Los Angeles, make the most of your remaining time and visit any attractions that you missed earlier in your trip. Make sure to leave time for one last shopping spree or a visit to one of LA’s many incredible restaurants. Finally, head to the airport for your return trip home.
