Day 1: Arrival

Following that, head to the Reunification Palace – the historic place where the Vietnam War ended, and the country was reunited. After lunch, you can explore the beautiful French architecture of the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office. In the evening, visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market to shop for souvenirs and enjoy some traditional Vietnamese street food.
Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels
Take a tour to the Cu Chi tunnels – an intricate network of tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. You can crawl through the tunnels, which are just about wide enough for a person to squeeze through, and learn about their construction and use during the war. Day 4: Mekong Delta Boat Tour
Embark on an early morning journey to the Mekong Delta to see the lush green countryside of Vietnam. Then head over to Nguyen Hue Walking Street, famous for its street food vendors. Eat authentic Vietnamese street food and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. In the evening, experience the night market at Ben Thanh Market – a bustling hub of shopping and dining.
Day 6: Vung Tau Beach
Take a day trip to Vung Tau, one of the most popular beaches in southern Vietnam. The beach is about three hours away from Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy the warm sun and crystal clear waters, and don’t forget to sample Vung Tau’s seafood dishes – renowned throughout Vietnam for freshness and flavour.
Day 7: Departure
Your 7-day trip has come to a close, and it’s time to head home. If you have some time before your flight, take a stroll through Tao Dan Park. It’s a peaceful place to relax and rejuvenate before departing on your journey.
